Way Back When: Beginnings for Q1b

My father's male family members began 15,000 to 20,000 years ago in Siberia. Most left the area and managed to make it into North and then South America, probably feeling it was too cold in Siberia, but my special Siberian Clan with the dna marker of 242 either stayed longer or spread out to India and China. Eventually my family group made their way to Lithuania, possibly by the 1300's AD. By now we have our own marker of M378. It wasn't probably till the 1800's that we picked up the surname of Goldfoot.

What I know from dna testing results is that our Q1b haplogroup of M378 came from the Altai Mt. area of Siberia, Mongolia and parts of Turkey.

Also, from Alfred Krupa, founder of the Ashina Royal Dynasty is this news: "Last post on Ashkenazi Q Yahoo group from Ms. Lisa shows Q1b present in Siberia. So far we hadn't had this kind of information. Another and additional proof supporting my work.
